Why We Built a College
Because the harvest demands more than good intentions — it demands prepared laborers.
As Nehemia Worship Center expanded from one congregation to fifteen, Bishop David Walukhu faced a critical question: who would shepherd these new places? The answer was not to import leaders — it was to grow them. The Nehemia Bible Training College was born from the conviction that the church must raise leaders from its own soil — men and women who understand the Scriptures, who walk in prayer, and who have been tested in community before they are sent.
Our college is not a degree factory. It is a greenhouse for character, gifting, and calling. Students are trained in theology, pastoral care, worship leadership, and practical evangelism — and they do it alongside a living church that practices what it preaches. This is education the way Jesus designed it: in motion, in relationship, in the field.
